The Hoshigaki print captures the tradition of Japanese Hoshigaki, dried persimmons, which become a deliscious dried fruit snack. These treats are traditionally made in winter by letting the fruit air-dry on strings. The sight of so many little orange guys hanging outside always fills me with joy.
